Project Grant

Overview

Grant Description
This agreement funds the Grantee, TxDOT, to complete final design and construction activities to eliminate two at-grade highway-rail crossings by providing a grade separation at the US 90 at-grade crossing over the UPRR tracks and removing the at-grade crossing at Waco Street in Dayton, TX.

In the project area, US 90 is a five-lane primary arterial highway carrying significant traffic due to the industrial nature of the highway and two nearby rail yards.

The construction of the grade separation will improve safety and mobility by eliminating two highway-rail grade crossings.

The project qualifies for the required set-aside for rural investment.
