Overview
Grant Description
The Ettrick Project will (1) design and construct a new platform and canopy with related site work and amenities to comply with ADA requirements.
(2) Provide improvements to the station building to correct ADA non-compliant items identified by AMTRAK.
(3) Modify the existing parking lot to increase capacity and improve circulation and durability of the parking lot, including new lighting, signage, pavement markings, and at least two ADA compliant spaces.
(4) Design and construct stormwater management infrastructure, as required to comply with Virginia state quality and quantity standards.
The stormwater collection system will be connected to an existing municipal stormwater system on East River Road, which may be accessed through public or private right-of-way.
