The purpose of this project is to conduct environmental review, preliminary engineering, final design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction activities to close a private at-grade crossing and build a non-motorized, ADA-compliant overpass.
The project will provide residents and regional trail users with a safe way to cross the railroad tracks.
The proposed construction of the bridge will establish safer passage for pedestrians seeking access to outdoor amenities and parents of four schools driving their children to school.
