Project Grant

Overview

Grant Description
The project will construct a highway interchange and highway-rail grade separation at the intersection of State Highway 53 (SH-53) and Pleasant View Road in Hauser, Idaho.

Three existing highway-rail grade crossings along a two-mile segment of the BNSF Railway (BNSF) will be closed, eliminating incidents with trains at the crossings.

All traffic previously using the three at-grade crossings will use the grade separated overpass at Pleasant View with the completion of this project.
