Grant Description
The objective of this project is to enhance the overall safety of this line from MP 713 to MP 662 to accommodate 286,000-lb. carloads and Class 2 track standards, including 25 mph operating speeds.

Also, this project includes an upgrade to the One-Way Low Speed (OWLS) located at MP 610.5.

This project will improve the integrity and life span of rail and remove slow orders to better serve customer shipments from Preston to the Cordele Intermodal Terminal with connections to Port of Savannah.
