Grant Description
The project will enhance the CTrail Hartford Line intercity passenger rail service by adding a ninth weekday round-trip train to the CTrail schedule between New Haven and Hartford, CT (extending as a fifth weekday round-trip train to Springfield, MA). Additionally, customer service support representation will be added at Hartford Union Station.

The expanded service will provide additional travel opportunities in the desired morning period between New Haven, Hartford, and Springfield, with convenient connections to other rail services in New Haven.
