Overview
Grant Description
The purpose of this award is to provide funding to the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (CT DMV) to enhance and integrate the CT DMV's online Medical Certificate (MEC) portal data into one enterprise platform. This will automate the negate process for convictions, improving the timeliness and accuracy of posting to the driver history record and/or transmitting electronically through the Commercial Driver's License Information System.
Integrate workflows between the Commercial Skills Test Information System (CS TIMS) and the Training Provider Registry to implement the Test Results Service (TRS) and the CS TIMS Tablet Webservice. Additionally, enhance and expand the CT DMV enterprise platform to include an integrated appointment module for knowledge and skills tests.
