PROJECT TITLE: REPLACE STRUCTURE 680078 (FERRY RAMP) OVER THE NEUSE RIVER ON NC 306 AT THE MINNESOTT BEACH FERRY TERMINAL. :::: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: REPLACE THE EAST FERRY RAMP AT THE MINNESOTT BEACH FERRY TERMINAL (FEDERAL STRUCTURE 1370078 / STATE STRUCTURE 068078) ON NC 306 OVER THE NEUSE RIVER IN PAMLICO COUNTY. THE EAST FERRY RAMP WILL BE REPLACED IN KIND WITH A 17-FOOT DECK WIDTH AND WILL BE ADA-COMPLIANT. THE REPLACEMENT RAMP WILL BE CONSTRUCTED TO PROVIDE VERTICAL CLEARANCE TO GANTRIES. TRAFFIC WILL BE MAINTAINED ON THE WEST FERRY RAMP DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS TO REPLACE A STRUCTURALLY DEFICIENT FERRY RAMP STRUCTURE. THIS PROJECT USES FERRY BOAT PROGRAM (FBP) FUNDS.
