Project title: Multimodal connections to the shoreline south regional transit hub

Project description:

(A) - CN for Phase 2 of the 148th St. Ped/Bike Bridge spanning I-5 and improvements on the west side of I-5 including ramp and stairs.

(B) - RW & CN for Phase 2 of SR 523 (N/NE 145th St) to resurface, buffered sidewalk, add left turn lanes at Meridian Ave, and transit and utility improvements between Corliss Ave and Wallingford Ave.

(C) - RW & CN phases of Phase 3 of SR 523 (N/NE 145th St) to resurface, buffered sidewalk, channelization and queueing at SR 99, and transit and utility improvements between Wallingford Ave and SR 99.

(D) - CN phase for bike lanes and sharrows, sidewalk, and signage along 148th St, Corliss Ave, 150th St, Ashworth Ave, 157th St, Midvale Ave, and 160th St.
Funding Goals
THE INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT AND JOBS ACT OF 2021 ( BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW OR BIL ) AUTHORIZED AND APPROPRIATED $1.5 BILLION TO BE AWARDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ( DOT ) FOR LOCAL AND REGIONAL PROJECT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANTS UNDER NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS IN FY 2023. THIS NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY (NOFO) SOLICITS APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECTS FUNDED UNDER THE LOCAL AND REGIONAL PROJECT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, KNOWN AS THE RAISE GRANTS PROGRAM. IF THE FY 2023 APPROPRIATIONS ACT PROVIDES ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE RAISE GRANTS PROGRAM AND/OR SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FUNDS, THE DEPARTMENT WILL AMEND THIS NOTICE WITH GUIDANCE ON ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS. AS WITH PREVIOUS ROUNDS, FUNDS FOR THE FY 2023 RAISE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM ARE TO BE AWARDED ON A COMPETITIVE BASIS FOR PROJECTS THAT WILL HAVE A SIGNIFICANT LOCAL OR REGIONAL IMPACT.
