Grant Description
Award purpose to rund reconstruction of the tender pier and dock B in the Pier 15 area in the Port of San Juan.
It will also fund the rehabilitation of an outfitting pier to enhance RO RO operations at Pier 15.
Component 1 construction element 1 dock B.
Element 2 tender pier.
Element 3 outfitting pier.
Activities to perform improve dock B tender pier and the outfitter pier.
Outcomes increase the gross tons of cargo at the pier and increase the number of vessel calls.
Gross tons short metric economic competitiveness the movement of gross tonnage of freight in the area defined by the project study area.
Secondary variables types of freight types of intermodal transport.
Vessel calls economic competitiveness vessel type and or freight capacity of the vessels calling to the area defined in the project study area.
Intended beneficiary MARAD.
Subrecipient activities none.
