The grant will fund construction of approximately 16,200 linear feet of track and related infrastructure, switches, turnouts, utilities, and drainage improvements.

The project adds capacity to the existing on-dock railyard at the Port of Los Angeles by adding five new tracks just north of the existing railyard.
