Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct Taxiway Lighting; Install Airfield Guidance Signs; Rehabilitate Taxiway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project installs new and replacement airfield guidance sign fixtures to meet current Federal Aviation Administration design standards to enhance visual guidance of aircraft. This project reconstructs the Taxiway A lighting system that has reached the end of its useful life and requires reconstruction to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards. Additionally, this project rehabilitates 3,715 feet of the existing Taxiway A and associated connector taxiway pavements to extend their useful lives. This grant funds the final phase, which consists of construction.
