PURPOSE: REHABILITATE RUNWAY. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT REHABILITATES 13,401 FEET OF EXISTING PAVED RUNWAY 18L/36R TO MAINTAIN THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY AND MINIMIZE FOREIGN OBJECT DEBRIS TO EXTEND ITS USEFUL LIFE. . THIS GRANT FUNDS A PORTION OF PHASE 1, WHICH CONSISTS OF REHABILITATION OF 7,401 FEET. THIS GRANT IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT THAT FUNDS THE REMAINING ELIGIBLE PORTION OF THE PROJECT. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
