Grant Description
Purpose: Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act funds awarded as economic relief for U.S. airports affected by the prevention of, preparation for, and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Activities to be performed/Expected outcomes:
This grant provides for airport airside development that traditionally cannot be funded with Airport Improvement Program (AIP) resources. The project consists of replacing 4,600 feet of an existing airport water main.
This project conducts a terminal area narrative report to plan for impacts of capacity and fleet changes on the terminal building and its associated facilities.
This project constructs an 870-foot taxilane to connect Taxiway L to the new general aviation hangar area.
This project installs replacement Runway 15/33 end identifier lights at this commercial service airport.
This project updates an existing airport master plan study to reflect the future needs of the airport.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
