PURPOSE: REHABILITATE TAXIWAY. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT REHABILITATES 1,425 FEET OF THE EXISTING PAVED TAXIWAY K WEST (INCLUDES A 250 FOOT PORTION OF THE ADJOINING TAXIWAY E) TO MAINTAIN THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE PAVEMENT AND TO MINIMIZE FOREIGN OBJECT DEBRIS TO EXTEND ITS USEFUL LIFE. THIS GRANT FUNDS A PORTION OF THE TOTAL PROJECT. THIS GRANT IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT THAT FUNDS THE REMAINING ELIGIBLE PORTION OF THE PROJECT. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH PORTLAND, OREGON.
