Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct runway lighting; reconstruct runway visual guidance system; rehabilitate runway; realign taxiway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project realigns existing taxiway B by 8 degrees to enhance safety.
This project reconstructs existing runway 8/26 lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project reconstructs the runway end identifier lights system for runway 8/26, at both runway thresholds that have reached the end of their useful lives.
This project rehabilitates 6,348 feet of existing paved runway 08/26 to maintain the structural integrity and minimize foreign object debris to extend its useful life.
This grant funds Phase 1, which consists of replacing the runway end identifier lights at the runway 8 threshold.
This grant funds Phase 2, which consists of reconstructing 2,700 feet of runway lighting circuits.
This grant funds Phase 3, which consists of constructing the southern 362 feet of taxiway.
This grant funds Phase 3, which consists of rehabilitating 2,700 feet of runway.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Minot, North Dakota.
