Purpose: Construct deicing pad and containment facility; reconstruct deicing pad and containment facility.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project expands by 47,000 square yards, an existing public use deicing pad.
This project reconstructs an existing 39,000 square yards public use deicing pad including containment facility and associated equipment that have reached the end of their useful lives.
This grant funds the final phase, which consists of construction of 16,356 square yards.
This grant funds the final phase, which consists of reconstruction of 13,572 square yards.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Syracuse, New York.
