Grant Description
Purpose: Acquire snow removal equipment; reconstruct taxiway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project acquires a replacement carrier vehicle with blower equipment to enhance the airport's ability to clear the airfield during adverse weather conditions.
This project reconstructs 10,600 feet of the existing taxiway A pavement that has reached the end of its useful life.
This grant funds the second phase, which consists of the reconstruction of 1,200 feet of pavement in front of the general aviation apron.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Duluth, Minnesota.
