Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct Taxiway
This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to increase the federal share to 100 percent for the Airport Improvement Program (AIP).
Activities to be performed/Expected outcomes:
This project reconstructs 7,200 feet of the existing Taxiway Y pavement that has reached the end of its useful life. This grant funds the second phase, which consists of 1,600 feet of reconstruction from Taxiway R to Taxiway Y3.
Intended beneficiary:
This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Detroit, Michigan.
