Purpose: The purpose of this grant is to implement the State of Nevada Digital Equity Plan developed pursuant to the State Digital Equity Planning Grant Program.

Activities to the performed: Strategies funded by the capacity grant will seek to increase adoption rates, improve access to devices and technical support, provide more opportunities for Nevadans to attain digital skills, and create a data-driven understanding of what works to close the digital divide among leaders at all levels of government, business, philanthropy, and community to ensure sustainability.

Expected outcomes: Nevada will use capacity grant funding to realize its vision for digital equity: that all Nevadans have access to affordable, reliable, scalable high-speed internet, a connected device, and the digital skills and support needed to safely and securely work, learn, and thrive.

Intended beneficiaries: Residents of the State of Nevada and principally unserved and underserved covered populations statewide.

Subrecipient activities: The recipient does plan to subaward funds for the purpose of directly supporting the de capacity grant's programmatic activities.
