PURPOSE: EXPAND TERMINAL. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT EXPANDS THE EXISTING TERMINAL BY 49,549 SQUARE FEET, INCLUDING HOLDROOM AREAS, PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGES, BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM, AND ASSOCIATE FACILITIES. THIS EXPANSION WILL FACILITATE THE MOVEMENT OF PASSENGERS AND BAGGAGE TO BRING THE AIRPORT INTO CONFORMITY WITH CURRENT STANDARDS. THIS GRANT FUNDS PHASE 10, WHICH INCLUDES CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE WORK, STRUCTURAL AND NON-STRUCTURAL METAL FRAMING, AND FINISHES. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH KEY WEST, FLORIDA.
