Purpose: Reconstruct Runway Lighting; Rehabilitate Runway
Activities to be performed/Expected outcomes: This project reconstructs the existing Runway 16R/34L lighting system that has reached the end of its useful life and requires reconstruction to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards. Additionally, this project rehabilitates 484 concrete panels of Runway 16R/34L to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris. The grant funds 8.21% of the total project cost. It is important to note that this project is associated with an Airport Improvement Program grant that funds the remaining eligible portion of the project.
