Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct taxiway lighting; reconstruct runway lighting; reconstruct airport rotating beacon; acquire and install electrical emergency generator; reconstruct airfield equipment.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project acquires and installs a new electrical generator to improve the reliability and efficiency of the airport's power supply and to prevent power disruptions to the airfield.
This project replaces one existing airport rotating beacon that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project replaces the existing primary wind cone, supplemental wind cone, and segmented circle panels that have reached the end of their useful lives.
This project reconstructs existing Runway 1/19 lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project reconstructs existing Taxiway A, existing Taxiway B, existing Taxiway C, existing Taxiway D, existing Taxiway E, existing Taxiway F, and existing Taxiway G lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with TALKEETNA, ALASKA.
