Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct Runway Lighting; Seal Runway Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project performs sealing, crack repair, and joint filling to 4600 feet of the existing Runway 4L/22R surface to extend the pavement's useful life. Additionally, this project reconstructs the existing Runway 4L/22R lighting system that has reached the end of its useful life and requires reconstruction to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards. The grant funds the design phase.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Nenana, Alaska.
