This project strategically extends a network of protected lands which numerous species of concern rely by funding the purchase of a conservation easement on Brushy Mountain, Eel River Peninsula Forest Legacy Project area.
Species of concern include the federally threatened and endangered Coastal Chinook Salmon, Northern California Steelhead, Northern Spotted Owl, and Tule Elk, a subspecies of elk found only in California.
