Grant Description
This award funds the approved 2023-2024 AmeriCorps State Competitive Fixed Amount programs, as listed on the approved program funding summary chart. This award is a fixed amount grant at $23,000 per MSY for City Year, Impact Justice, and Napa County, and $22,680 for Interval House. No member may enroll prior to the approved start date of the member enrollment period.
This award includes ARP funding intended to increase the living allowance, provide match replacement funds, and/or expand current activities.
City Year: This award includes ARP funding intended to increase the living allowance, provide match replacement funds, and/or expand current activities. To do this, we will award $379,984 for living allowance increases.
Impact Justice: This award includes ARP funding intended to increase the living allowance, provide match replacement funds, and/or expand current activities. To do this, we will award $545,726 for living allowance increases.
Napa County Office of Education: This award includes ARP funding intended to increase the living allowance, provide match replacement funds, and/or expand current activities. To do this, we will award $923,760 for living allowance increases.
Interval House: This award includes ARP funding intended to increase the living allowance, provide match replacement funds, and/or expand current activities. To do this, we will award $929,880 in Bucket 3 funds - expansion of service.
This award also fully funds the remaining one year of the Interval House subgrantee, by providing $476,289 in funding for the 2024-25 program year. The grantee will not spend any of the FY 2024 additional funds until the FY24 program year begins. No additional slots are awarded at this time. Slots will be awarded in the year for which they apply. FY24 AmeriCorps members will receive living allowance and education award benefits in accordance with FY24 amounts.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS AWARD IS TO ASSIST THE GRANTEE IN CARRYING OUT A NATIONAL SERVICE PROGRAM AS AUTHORIZED BY THE NATIONAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACT OF 1990, AS AMENDED (42 U.S.C. ?12501 ET SEQ.).
