Brief Summary:
The Kansas Department of Commerce its partners will be providing services both to RRCS and FCI Leavenworth. It will work to strengthen and formalize coordination with social service providers. Through collaboration with all stakeholders, representatives from organizations will be brought together to reduce any barriers a participant may face. Kansas will provide services during all three stages of the program to improve employment outcomes for participants, as well as helping reduce the recidivism rate of participants. It will also provide access to training that leads to sustainable living wage employment improves the economic mobility of program participants and their families, reducing the need for dependence on social services and reducing the risks of generational poverty.
