Tiger Grant Awards Description:
Purpose:
The purpose of these grant funds is to help states implement identified recommendations in areas the state needs to change correct to meet ARPA goals.
Activities to be Performed:
States must complete an assessment that leverages a multi-disciplinary approach related to identifying process improvements and implement negotiated recommendations identified by the Department's Tiger Team Engagement Assessment.
Expected Outcomes:
Detect and prevent fraud, promote equitable access, and ensure the timely payment of benefits (including reduction elimination of adjudication and appeals backlogs).
Intended Beneficiaries:
State workforce agencies
