Grant Description
This award funds the approved 2022-23 Public Health AmeriCorps Program. No member may enroll prior to the approved start date of the member enrollment period. Your 2022-23 regulatory match is 0%.
Goodwill Northern New England proposes to have 37 AmeriCorps members who will expand the capacity of public health agencies to help medically underserved communities in Maine and New Hampshire.
At the end of the first program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for implementing evidence-based public health interventions to help 12 agencies increase their capacity. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage 50 volunteers in the same activities.
After their year of service, 25 AmeriCorps members will pursue future engagement in the public health sector.
