Grant Description
This award funds the approved 2022-23 Public Health AmeriCorps program. No member may enroll prior to the approved start date of the member enrollment period. Your 2022-23 regulatory match is 0%.
Health360 proposes to have 50 AmeriCorps (AC) members who will implement Mental Health Gatekeeper Trainings (GKT) that increase the ability of laypeople to identify and support people with mental illness in organizations across the nation that demonstrate need via an annual competitive application process.
At the end of the first program year, the AC members will be responsible for training 625 individuals in a select suicide prevention GKT, with 468 of those trained having increased knowledge of strategies used to identify and support people with mental illness. Additionally, an additional 5625 individuals will be trained in other select mental health GKT.
