Overview
Grant Description
Alerrt through the Texas State University will use FY24 PASS funding to deliver a series of training classes nationwide which will provide the best, researched-based active shooter/attack training in the nation.
These classes incorporate law enforcement, fire, EMS, and dispatcher personnel, as well as community leaders, for a truly integrated training experience.
The core of each of the proposed training courses focuses on communication and coordination to integrate multiple law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies more effectively in an attempt to save as many lives as possible.
We will also be providing a range of online resources to both professional responders and civilian community members.
Additionally, we will conduct original research to both validate our training and better understand active attacks.
