Project Grant
Overview
Grant Description
This EDA investment supports the Maui Academy of Performing Arts with renovating an existing facility to house a new performing arts campus. This project contributes to the diversification of Maui's tourism economy outside of the traditional hotel and food service sectors in Hawaii.
The project will help the region become more resilient to fluctuations in tourism and assist in the region's recovery. This, in turn, will help increase employment opportunities, save jobs, spur private investment, and advance economic resiliency in the area.
