Project Grant

Overview

Grant Description
This EDA investment supports the Grenada County Board of Supervisors with improving the construction of a four-lane access road into the Grenada Technology Park North in Grenada, Mississippi. The road will provide access from the north end of the park as well as expand the existing road access from the south.

The industrial road will be an estimated 2.4 miles of four lanes to support employee and truck traffic in Grenada County. In addition, the project will attract new businesses and help to generate an environment that can serve as a catalyst for unprecedented regional economic growth.

Once completed, the project will help with recovery efforts from the COVID-19 pandemic, create and retain jobs, and strengthen the regional economy.
