Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Marble Falls, Texas to implement its project for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant, sewer lines, and reclaimed water lines as directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a wastewater infrastructure construction project.
Workplan activities consist of: new wastewater treatment plant construction, sewer construction, and reclaimed water line construction.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include construction of a new 1.5 million gallon per day wastewater treatment plant, construction of new raw wastewater force main, and construction of new reclaimed water lines.
The expected outcomes include relocation of the existing wastewater treatment capacity out of the floodplain to protect and harden existing infrastructure, increase capacity and technology of the wastewater treatment system to eventually support a level of treatment to accommodate nonpotable reuse and future potable reuse, to restore the existing treatment plant site for future use.
The intended beneficiaries include the citizens of the City of Marble Falls, Texas.
