Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Soap Lake in Washington to implement its project to replace lift stations and forced mains as directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a complete replacement of Lift Station 1, and the complete replacement of the force mains and the re-routing of the Lift Station 2 force main project.
Workplan activities include complete replacement of the lift station structures, pumps and piping and the related force mains.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include installation of new lift stations and force mains with the expected infrastructure lifetime of forty-five years at minimum.
The anticipated outcomes include reduced sewer system leakage and overflows, reduced energy usage by installing more energy efficient pumps and equipment.
The intended beneficiaries include residents of City of Soap Lake, human health, and the environment.
