Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding for the operation of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality's (ODEQ) continuing environmental programs while giving it greater flexibility to address its highest environmental priorities, improve environmental performance, achieve administrative savings and strengthen the partnership between ODEQ and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This agreement funds state continuing environmental programs for air, land, and water resources.

Activities: ODEQ's strategic priorities and EPA's national goals for 2024-2026 share similar objectives that achieve the requirements of Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) with limited resources.

Specific activities and commitments are included in Appendices A-C of the 2024-2026 Oregon Performance Partnership Agreement (PPA).

The PPA serves as the workplan for this Performance Partnership Grant (PPG).

Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.

Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include check-in meetings amongst the programs and written reports.

The expected outcomes include cleaner, safer and healthier air quality; safe management and reduction of hazardous waste and toxic chemicals; and protection and improvement of Oregon's water quality.

Direct beneficiaries of this program are the citizens of Oregon.
