Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Burns, Oregon, to implement its water system improvements project as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a drinking water infrastructure construction project.
Workplan activities consist of replacing water distribution line, replacing and installing new fire hydrants, making improvements to the Well #1 building, and replacing water meters.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include over 46,000 lineal feet of new water distribution piping, new and improved fire hydrants, Well #1 building replacement and interior improvements, and new water meters.
The expected outcomes include a safer and more reliable drinking water supply.
The intended beneficiaries include the residents of the City of Burns, Oregon.
