Description:
This agreement provides funding to the City and Borough of Yakutat in Alaska for a waterline extension project as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
Activities:
The activities to be performed include construction of a new pipeline, service lines, booster pumping equipment, and other appurtenances to connect the airport to the existing city water distribution system.
Subrecipient:
No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes:
The anticipated deliverables are a new pipeline, service lines, booster pumping equipment and other appurtenances, the construction of which are expected to lead to improved health by providing safe drinking water free of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminants for the residents and visitors of the City and Borough of Yakutat.
