Overview
Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to McCurtain County to implement its project for water line replacement as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a drinking water infrastructure construction project.
Workplan activities consist of: installing water mains by trenching and horizontal drilling, installation of valves, fittings, hydrants, air-release valves, implementation of traffic control devices, street repairs, bedding and backfill materials, and restoration of disturbed areas.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include the installation of a 12-inch diameter water main from Highway 70 to the booster pump station on Rodeo Road, an overall distance of roughly 57,000 linear feet; a 10-inch water main will be installed from the pump station at Rodeo Road northward to Highway 3, roughly 10,000 linear feet; and a water main at the intersection of Sherry Lane and Highway 3 is planned for replacement and will include 1,500 linear feet of 10-inch main.
The expected outcomes include a reduction of water loss as well as improved hydraulic capacity for the water distribution system.
The intended beneficiaries include residents of McCurtain County, Oklahoma.
