Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) to implement its project to lower water surface elevations within the Q134 sub watershed to reduce existing flooding issues and enhance water quality benefits through natural filtration processes as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.

Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a storm water infrastructure construction and water quality protection project.

Workplan activities consist of the construction of a 247-acre-foot stormwater detention basin located at the confluence of the two primary Harris County Flood Control District channels in the Q134 sub watershed.

Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.

Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include construction of a 247-acre-foot stormwater detention basin.

The expected outcomes include the mitigation for the Harris County RRD Forest Manor drainage improvements.

The intended beneficiaries include the residents of Harris County, Texas.
