Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Bellaire to implement its project to the Bellaire waterlines and water and wastewater line replacement as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act and 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a replacement of approximately 4.5 miles of water pipeline due to age of the existing pipelines, as well as the replacement of valves and fire hydrants project.
Workplan activities consist of: waterline replacement, valve and fire hydrant replacement, and roadway restoration.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include waterline replacement, valve and fire hydrant replacement, and roadway restoration.
The expected outcomes include reduction in water loss due to leaks, enhanced water quality, increased system reliability, improved emergency response capability, reduced environmental impact, compliance with federal regulations.
The intended beneficiaries include residents in the City of Bellaire.
