Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to the City of Temple to implement its project to rehabilitate existing sewer lines by means of pipe bursting as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed are sewer line rehabilitation via pipe bursting in three historic neighborhoods.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables are the rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer lines in the historic downtown Temple area.
This project is expected to increase sewer line flow and capacity, which will lead to reduced sanitary sewer overflows for downtown Temple neighborhoods.
