Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Schertz, Texas to implement its project to add an additional ground storage tank to their water system as directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed are the construction of a 3.0 million gallon water ground storage tank with a pump station and associated electrical gear.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverable is a 3.0 million gallon Corbett ground storage tank, which is expected to lead to critical storage and redundancy and will provide clean water for the approximately 5,800 people served by the water connections.
Direct beneficiaries of this program include 2,300 water connections that serve approximately 5,800 people.
