Grant Description
Purpose: Lead the Stormwater Strategic Initiative 2.0 and administer a subaward program.
Activities:
- Facilitate an advisory team for decision making/adaptive management and coordinate with other key stakeholders.
- Make/manage subawards.
- Address climate change/environmental justice impacts.
Deliverables:
- Toxics in fish, freshwater stream, and marine water quality implementation strategies/adaptive management.
Outcomes:
- Reduce toxics.
- Healthier freshwater streams.
- Improved marine water quality.
Beneficiaries:
- People who eat fish or swim in Puget Sound.
Subrecipient activities will include:
- Green stormwater infrastructure.
- Best management practices.
- Outreach/education.
- Actions to prevent toxics pollution.
