Grant Description
These funds for the North American Development Bank (NADB) will provide assistance to implement the recipient's Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF) program. The activities are to provide grant financial assistance to numerous subrecipients for costs associated with the construction and transition assistance of their eligible safe drinking water and water quality improvement and protection projects.
The expected outcomes are to manage an effective comprehensive BEIF program and to implement projects that address safe drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects that improve and protect water quality and public health for citizens throughout the Region 6 US/Mexico border area up to 62 miles on each side of the border.
The North American Development Bank (NADB) will use the funds to implement the Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF) program in accordance with the objectives, responsibilities, and procedures described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
