Grant Description
These funds for the North American Development Bank (NADB) will provide assistance to implement the Project Development Assistance Program (PDAP) in accordance with objectives, responsibilities, and procedures, described in the Standard Operating Procedures dated May 2011 or its latest revision.
The activities funded with PDAP are to provide grant financing to numerous subrecipients for costs associated with the preliminary engineering, geotechnical studies, surveys, environmental information document, public participation, and final design assistance to eligible drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects selected as part of its prioritization process.
The projects identified in the work plan meet the Category 1 priority and will be developed by NADB using Project Development Assistance Program (PDAP) funding for certification.
The expected outcomes are to establish and manage an effective and comprehensive PDAP program that leads to improved water quality and public health for citizens throughout the Region 6 US/Mexico border area, up to 62 miles on each side of the border.
