Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Port Clinton to implement the water and sewer infrastructure improvements project as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.

Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a wastewater and stormwater infrastructure construction project.

Workplan activities consist of conveyance system improvements.

Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.

Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include the installation of:
- 8,601 linear feet of 8' to 18' sanitary sewer
- 7,811 linear feet of 12' to 30' storm sewer
- Associated service lateral replacements and restoration items.

The expected outcomes include:
- Reduction in combined sewer overflows (CSOs) into Portage River and Lake Erie
- Improved water quality and public health protection
- Increased fire flow capacity by 10-50% in targeted areas
- Enhanced reliability of water distribution and emergency storage
- Long-term resilience of water and sewer infrastructure

The intended beneficiaries include the residents of the City of Port Clinton.
