Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Elkhorn to implement its project for the Lakeland Water Treatment Plant HMO addition and improvements as directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed include the execution and implementation of a wastewater infrastructure construction.
Workplan activities consist of: wastewater treatment plant improvements.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables include but are not limited to: a building addition, roof replacement, sanitary sewer upgrades, the rehabilitation of two (2) iron filters, rehabilitation of three (3) softeners, an aerator rehabilitation, the addition of hydrous manganese oxide (HMO) chemical feed system, upgrades to both the sodium hypochlorite and orthophosphate chemical feed systems, minor site work, and upgrades to the electrical, SCADA, plumbing and HVAC.
The expected outcomes include wastewater treatment system that will meet maximum contaminate level WDNR requirements.
The intended beneficiaries include residents of the City of Elkhorn.
