Grant Description
Description: This agreement provides funding to City of Woodbury to implement its project to add approximately 7,374 linear feet of 16-20-inch new water main and to manifold together the existing groundwater wells with raw water piping in the East Well Field to support future treatment for PFAS as directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as identified in an approved technical correction if one has been approved for this project.
Activities: The activities to be performed are add approximately 7,374 linear feet of 16-20-inch new water main and to manifold together the existing groundwater wells with raw water piping in the East Well Field to support future treatment for PFAS.
Subrecipient: No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
Outcomes: The anticipated deliverables are an overall beneficial impact on the quality of the human environment as the pipeline would take water from groundwater wells to the water treatment plant for treatment and deliver it back to residential users.
This would be beneficial to the public utility and overall public health.
