Grant Description
The Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Monitoring Program will implement a long-term Great Lakes-wide coastal wetland monitoring program using a scientifically validated sampling design and protocols for condition assessment of wetland plant, invertebrate, fish, amphibian, and bird communities and water quality.
Field teams, led by Central Michigan University, will sample approximately 1000 coastal wetlands during the five-year award period (2021-2025).
